Posted July 26th, 2009 in Zindagi by Ankit

smileRemember the Mastercard’s Ad – “There are something in life that money can’t buy, for everything else………”. I was thinking about the same for past few days. I was always of the opinion that money should never be the priority in one’s life, and there were times when I had hours of GD’s with my friends on this topic.

This post is just a personal diary entry kinda thing. Want to recall all the good moments of my life ;)

  1. Receiving an unexpected e-mail or a snail mail. just got oneĀ  yesterday from my high school buddy, 3 years after we lost contact with each other. he described his past 3 years in that very long e-mail.
  2. Eating Roadside.Golgappas‘, ‘Chat‘ and how can I forget one of most memorable ‘Kulhar waali chai‘.
  3. Surprising Encounter with long-lost friend. Lots of them in my memory.
  4. Sleeping In on a Rainy Day listening to raindrops outside. Chandigarh or Allahabad or Else, rain is definitely relaxing.
  5. Winning. Everyone likes competition. and there is something very motivating whens brains are running with full efficiency under pressure for the top spot.
  6. Last day of a class or semester. We all know how it feels to be relieved by the subjects which we never wanted or want to study in future. planning for vacations is yet more exciting.
  7. First kiss from someone special. Sweet rush of butterflies in your tummy when you kiss someone special for the very first time.
  8. Making a brief eye-contact to someone of opposite sex. passing from the opposite sides and you looking at her and unexpectedly she looks back, and for split of a second your eyes meet. moment passes by and you think about what had just happened.
  9. To bring smile on face of that special someone. may it be a surprise for someone, or proving yourself stupid publicly just to see that smile on his/her face. priceless.
  10. First sip of drink or bite of food after a long wait. taste doesn’t matters at that time [;)]
  11. Completion of plan as expected. we all make plans, we all know they fail most of the time. but when completed successfully,or an idea works out, the feeling of self-accomplishment is hard to describe in words
  12. Having a good and genuine conversation. only conversation with handful of special people remains in memories for long, rest are just talks.
  13. Being at the right place at the right time. i am yet to have that significant experience.
  14. Chatting whole night. phone, sms or messenger. when you just stop track of time and exchange just any random things to keep the other person involved and stretch the conversation as long as possible.
  15. Your first earning/salary. mine was approximately Rs. 3400 around three years back out of a small website project. gave it to my mom, of course. the smile I saw on her face is priceless.
  16. Feeling you get after a healthy workout.
  17. Saying same thing at the same time. and the laugh after that.
  18. Realizing you have more time to sleep.
  19. Receiving an unexpected compliment.
  20. Going on a trip, unplanned. quite few of them from my graduation experience. set the direction, collect the group, pick up the bikes/scooters and here we go !
  21. Holding hands of your beloved.
  22. Someone appreciating your work. got a lot of thank you mails and appreciation for my very first project stu-c. was featured in newspapers several times for the same and made a decent contacts list.
  23. A long hug from someone, ‘jaadu ki jhappi‘. when you really need it.
  24. Excitement of a new comment on your blog. and putting it in the approved list.

:)

There will surely be lot more of them out there. I’ll be happy if you share some of them with me.
